Breast cancer is the most common form of cancer among women in the United States, affecting one in eight women throughout the course of their lives. This topic may be outside my normal realm of coverage, but this is my effort in the hopes that I can be one more person to help reach millions of women who are in need of help after suffering from breast cancer. No one knows the cause of breast cancer, and no one knows the cure. But I do know a way to help women recovering from breast cancer revive their hair. This is not insignificant, any woman who has involuntarily lost her hair knows the damage it can cause to her self-esteem and well being. There is no escaping cancer! Hollywood celebrity Sheryl Crow knows first hand how the effects of hair loss can affect self-esteem.
That’s why Theradome, manufacturer of the first FDA approved, over-the-counter hair restoration device, has partnered with the Pink Lotus Breast Center to host a free helmet giveaway, as well as to provide all participants with a special promotion code to purchase the at-home hair restoration device at a reduced cost. Former NASA scientist Dr. Tamim Hamid created the hair-rejuvenating helmet featuring 80 proprietary lasers he discovered while at NASA. The goal is to help these women recover from excessive hair loss caused by chemotherapy and help them regrow their hair. The hope is to increase awareness surrounding new technologies for restoring women’s locks after cancer-related hair loss.
From October 15 through October 25th, women, as well as their family and friends, can enter the giveaway by completing an entry. Three winners will receive a pink, limited edition, Theradome LH80 PRO to help re-grow their hair thicker and healthier than before. Breast cancer survivors, their friends and family can enter the giveaway on Pink Lotus’ Facebook page starting October 15: facebook.com/pinklotusbreastcenter.
