I was invited on behalf of my blog, My LIFE | Mi VIDA as a guest amongst a group of Influencers carefully selected by Royal Caribbean to experience Harmony of the Seas as it prepared for it’s inaugural ship naming ceremony voyage. Royal Caribbean’s Harmony of the Seas can hold up-to 6,780 guests and is the cruise line’s biggest vessel. You can expect a blend of people similar to that found on other Royal Caribbean cruises. Everything from multigenerational families to couples looking for the perfect getaway and all can find exactly what they’re looking for on-board. This type of cruise is usually less appealing for couples like my husband and I which prefer vacations without children. Don’t get me wrong, we love kids and are kids at heart & we enjoy having fun doing many of the activities that kids like to do. We just have a preference for adult only vacations. With that being said, we really did have an amazing time and would do this again! I’m going to skip the corporate videos and statistics which can easily be found on the following Harmony of the Seas link. My focus is to share why my husband and I enjoyed the cruise. Our idea of vacationing includes blissful getaways from life’s daily stressors complete with leisurely dining, lots of quiet time, reading, relaxing in the sun and of-course, cocktails! The size of this ship is so incredible, so grand and magnificent that you, me and anyone can really enjoy whatever level of experience they are accustomed to. Even the most discerning traveler is sure to have an amazing time on Royal Caribbean’s Harmony of the Seas.
The following are some personal videos highlighting the things that we enjoyed most on our cruise along with links to all my faves on Royal Caribbean’s Harmony of the Seas.
MEET ALL MY FELLOW INFLUENCERS
(http://www.royalcaribbean.com/anthemoftheseas/dining/restaurants/wonderland/)- Venture down the rabbit hole and ask yourself: What is real and what is imagined? At Wonderland, their chefs twist their culinary kaleidoscopes to invent an elaborate dreamscape of never-before-seen fare. The story begins as you open the menu and find your element – Sun, Ice, Fire, Water, Earth and Dreams – each with a selection of small or shareable fantasies. And magical elixirs that whisper “Drink me” amidst amorphous mirrors, mystery and sensory surprises. The intention of it all becomes more certain with each maddeningly delicious bite.
150 CENTRAL PARK BY CHEF MICHAEL SCHWARTZ
(http://media.royalcaribbean.com/content/shared_assets/pdf/menus/150centralpark_AL.pdf) invites you to experience farm-to-ship cuisine, the genuine way. The six course tasting menu has been created by James Beard Award-winning chef/restaurateur Michael Schwartz, using distinctive ingredients, some sourced locally from small South Florida farms, with pairings selected from 150 Central Park’s comprehensive wine tasting program by Michael’s Genuine Food & Drink sommelier Eric Larkee.
The surf’s always up at our two FlowRider® surf simulators. Whether it is your first time or you’re already a “hang 10” pro, grab a board and ride the waves. http://www.royalcaribbean.com/harmonyoftheseas/onboard-activities/
